It has been a hard time with respect to my vlogging. I could not find what to say or how to say it and since I've been quite bussy with my daily work and enjoyed that, it hasn't been to difficult to let it slide, day after day... week after week... month after month.

Give me a bit of time.

Went to the beach last afternoon. While Alex had a blast in the surf, the seagles were trying to eat my lunch.

They didn't get the food but eventually they got the papers from my bag. How am I going to tell my teacher now that a seagle ate my homework?

Flea market

I went to the "antique flea market" at the Irvine Valley College. I have this attraction for old, weird, rusty stuff. They had some really cool things but the prices were just too OC for me.

It was nice anyway. The music is a fast first try to Garage Band.

I found really interesting how we associate certain sounds with specific situations, even if we don't have a clear visual of the action. Our imagination tends to fill up the hoies our perception tends to produce.

This is a fun example. First you have to watch this movie then the next one.

The sound is the same, the images tell a different story.

Morning Coffee

This is one of our favourite spots. Nice sunny day, nice environment, nice service, great music and... fresh coffee.

For my kids of course is nice hot chocolate and coloring books.

We got a Cat; we call her "blue"

So, a couple of weeks ago we went to the shelter and got a cat. Ok, I've always been a "dog" kind of guy. And since the time we had to leave our dog "Arnold" in Spain, I was still hurting about having another animal to replace him... but Fabia was insisting so much.

Anyway, we got this 2 years old female called Sheba, from whom we didn't know much. She just looked shy.

The first week she become the "cat from hell". She run and hide in our closet and would hisssssss at us when approached. Pretty much we thought we had an antisocial beast in our household. We were advised to be patient and so we did (it was hard since I love having animals around so I can pet them and touch them and didn't make much of a sense to get one that dessapears and just come back to eat and poo.

But for the last week, "blue" (her new name) has turned around. First coming out of the closet, not hissing at us and now she loves jumping on our bed and having a "petting" session from any of us.

We hope with time she will come out of our room and join the rest of the familly. I love this cat!.
